OTT/GAT – Rideau Lakes Tour with UCR

New to the Ottawa area, namely Westport is Rick Behling from UCR. Rick has been so impressed with the amazing roads near where he lives that he wants to share with UCR and has invited us to join his Coffee Run. As part of this, Rick and I thought it would be amazing for us in Rennsport Ottawa/Gatineau to billet some of the UCR folk for the Friday night before the run. Up to you if you feed them dinner and/or breakfast or go out to a restaurant. Please message me or email (ott.social@rennsport.ca) me if you can billet a couple or a single for September 22, Friday night. This would be a great way to expand our Porsche Family to include Toronto and area.
The following is a description of the run: Enjoy the fall scenery around the Rideau Lakes region, go through historic Perth, Smiths Falls and of course the quaint little town of Westport. In between, there are miles of twisty roads which meander through forests, alongside lakes and cross rivers. Lunch at The Opinicon Lodge on The Rideau Canal system. Relax on their patio with outstanding views of Opinicon Lake and Chaffey’s locks.
Registration opens on August 27 at 9pm via ClubReg and is limited to 20 cars total from Toronto and Ottawa. Cost is $50 per person and includes lunch at the Opinicon and a treat along the way.
