About Rennsport

Welcome to Rennsport Region of the Porsche Club of America. Rennsport operates in Eastern Ontario and all of Quebec, within PCA Zone 1. Our club is for Porsche enthusiasts who enjoy spending their leisure time with others that share the same passion. We host a number of driving tours, track-oriented driver education activities and social events, to name a few. We welcome non-members to our Monthly dinners – come out and see if the club is for you.

September Coffee Run – Two Sports at Opposite Ends of the Horsepower Spectrum

Rennsport members participated in the September 5th Coffee Run through Eastern Ontario, enjoying nice scenery, good roads and an easy drive. The highlight of the day was a visit to the former WW2 pilot training airfield at Pendleton, Ontario where we were hosted by the Gatineau Gliding Club. Members learned all about these sleek aircraft that provide thrills without any engine – just using the air currents to stay aloft and enjoy spectacular views of the terrain below. GGC members were on hand to explain how gliders operate and answered the many questions our curious crew had. A fun outing!

Rennsport at Porsche Parade 2026 Lake Placid

The Rennsport Region was well represented at the 2026 Porsche Club of America (PCA) Porsche Parade in Lake Placid, New York (see photos, below).  Many members from Ottawa and Montreal travelled down to Lake Placid as a group.  They were joined along the way by members of the Acadia Chapter.  Congratulations to James Salt who took first in Concours in Street Class and second in AutoX.  Kudos also to Karen Branston for winning the 3rd place ribbon in the 2026 Parade Art Show, “Porsche takes the lead at Laguna Seca”.  Lots of competition, but Karen’s painting is too good to miss.   And in a non-car event, Francine Lacasse won her Class in the 5km Run at Lake Placid. Ottawa Lanark Highlands Run 27 June

The 27th of June Coffee Run for the Ottawa Chapter of Rennsport took us through scenic, twisty back roads of Lanark County, Ontario.  The group met at the Dark and Deadly Cafe in Carleton Place bright and early at 7:30am.  The drive through some excellent back roads on the Lanark Highlands ended approximately 4hs later with a fixed menu lunch at the Final Score Sports Bar in Carleton Place. It was great to see so many beautiful, gleaming Porsches and, even more importantly, so many smiling faces. Catching up with old friends and welcoming new members is what makes our Porsche family so special.

Montreal Eastern Townships 27June

We had more than 30 cars on our coffee run from Montreal to Knowlton on Saturday the 27th of June.  We took some less-travelled roads through the Eastern Township countryside to Knowlton (Lac Brome) for lunch. Our route covered some beautiful secondary roads and included a coffee stop in Bedford at Atelier Trema https://www.ateliertrema.com/boutique-cafe .  We continued towards our destination with a dip into Sutton for a couple of special driving segments.  Finally, we headed for a delicious lunch at the Knowlton Pub Bistro! https://pubknowlton.com/menu .  After lunch, many took some time to browse Knowlton’s unique shops before the return to Montreal.
