Call for volunteers Destination Porsche

Destination Porsche is here on 27-29 September and we need your help.

The final races of the 2019 Porsche GT3 Challenge Cup Canada will be at Le Circuit Mont -Tremblant that weekend and Porsche Cars Canada, with the help of PCA regions across the country, has organized a weekend of activities called Destination Porsche so that Porsche owners will be at the centre of the action.

A large section of the spectator area, that we are calling the Coral, has been reserved for us to park our Porsches. The full reserved area includes the paddock for all of the GT3 Challenge race teams and a display of the classic Porsches that have been restored by 12 of the Porsche Centres across Canada.

We are looking for volunteers to ensure the success of this event. You must be available for a minimum of four hours per day, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday. As a thank you for your support, Porsche Canada and Rennsport offers; a free entrance ticket to the races, reserved Porsche parking and based on availability volunteers shirts. Please contact Bruno Bastien vp@rennsport.ca or Michael Delaney president@rennsport.ca to confirm your availability before September 19th.

Rennsport members wishing to attend the event but cannot volunteer please take note; we are currently in discussions with Le Circuit management in order to obtain a potential discount for event tickets. Please stay tuned for more details.

Picnic run to Mont Tremblant

We are organizing a special picnic run to Mont Tremblant, on Saturday, 24 August, 2019, where participants will have a chance to drive on the track with their Porsches. There is a Rennsport Drivers Ed event that weekend and during their lunch break, we will have the chance to drive on the track to do a few parade laps (max 100kph) following a guide vehicle. Helmets will not be necessary.

We will be leaving from the McDonald in Gatineau on Monté Paiement at 9:30AM to drive to Tim Hortons on Montee Ryan in Tremblant where we will meet up with the members from Montreal.
